Walmart and Ellen DeGeneres

Walmart and Ellen DeGereres

Attention: Walmart

Dear friends,

I’ve been a loyal customer for many years and appreciate your products and service. Thank you very much.

However, today I was surprised and even shocked to receive a notice featuring a popular personality as the leading character. I refer to Ellen DeGereres.

As you know, this woman is a renowned sodomite (or lesbian) who has become popular in many circles. Unfortunately, her renown is not from those who are holy, pure, and blameless—but from those who are evil, sensual, and wicked. Notice this portion of a much-longer article from Wikipedia:

In 1997, DeGeneres came out as lesbian. The disclosure of her sexual orientation sparked intense interest by American tabloids.[72] The contentiousness of the media coverage stunted DeGeneres’ professional career and left her “mired in depression”.[72][73] In her book Love, Ellen, DeGeneres’ mother, Betty DeGeneres describes being initially shocked when her daughter came out, but she has since become one of her strongest supporters; she is also an active member of Parents & Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) and spokesperson for the Human Rights Campaign’s Coming Out Project.

Betty, Ellen’s mother, was initially shocked (as she should have been), but not only has come to accept this depraved relationship but even now promotes it, as a member of “Parents & Friends of Lesbians and Gays”! It would seem that the American public craves this sort of story and advertising, but it is a depraved sort of interest, isn’t it!

The article continues:

The same year she came out, DeGeneres started a romantic relationship with actress Anne Heche that lasted until August 2000.[74] From 2000 to 2004, DeGeneres maintained a close affair with actress/director/photographer Alexandra Hedison.[75] The couple appeared on the cover of The Advocate after their separation had already been announced to the media.[76]

You will notice that DeGeneres continued to practice and promote her degenerate lifestyle of sexual immorality. Not content to keep this a secret as homosexuals of the past did, Ellen now openly displays this sexual immorality for the world to see! Scripture says that a step beyond personal evil is the matter of approving, accepting, and promoting the evil lifestyle for others to see and accept Romans 1:32).

Since 2004, DeGeneres has had a relationship with Portia de Rossi.[77] After the overturn of the same-sex marriage ban in California, DeGeneres and de Rossi were engaged, and married in August 2008, at their home in Beverly Hills, California, where they live with their four dogs and three cats.[78][79] The passage of Proposition 8 cast doubt on the legal status of their marriage, but a subsequent California Supreme Court judgment validated it because it occurred before November 4, 2008.[80][81][82] On August 6, 2010, de Rossi filed a petition to legally change her name to Portia Lee James DeGeneres.[83] The petition was granted on September 23, 2010.[84]

We can hardly believe our eyes regarding the continued sexual immorality displayed for everyone to see! Here we can also see the evil and disastrous results of accepting a sensual lifestyle. It not only brings personal evil, but it also “mushrooms” to a much wider circle. In this case, surely millions of Americans have been debauched through this means.

Wal-Mart, I encourage you to review your policy of accepting and promoting this perverted sexual relationship and debauched lifestyle. While it may bring you a few additional sales, it will also bring the management of the company into spiritual guilt. While increasing financial profits (perhaps), it also will bring the management (and even those who sell perverse and immoral products) into terrible guilt.

Thus I encourage you to rethink all of this in light of God’s truth and His light (John 17:17; 1 John 1:5).

Sincerely for the cause of Holiness,

Richard Hollerman
