Mother?

Richard Hollerman

We assume that you have heard that what must be the largest and best-organized “teachers’ union” has proposed and even promoted. Have you?

We refer to the National Education Association (the NEA), the ultra-liberal teachers’ union in the United States. As Christians, we do not support, condone, or advocate any union of any kind, but this particular union of teachers is particularly liberal and evil.

Probably we assumed that teachers would be somewhat conservative and that parents can safely entrust their children into the safe-keeping of this group of educators. But wait! We have read that this organization has proposed that “mother” should now be changed to “birthing parent”! Is this true? We know that this does seem preposterous but this is what we’ve read.

If it is true (and we do have reasons to think that this is right), we can understand. If 1-2% of people are “transgender” advocates and proponents (and participants), and if more than this are sodomites (homosexuals, both males and females) of one kind or another, and if they refuse to have babies or can’t have babies, we can see that “mother” might be offensive to them. We can see that “Mother” might indicate that these perverted fathers and mothers might want “mother” changed to “birthing parent”!

We need not discuss further. We already know that God would want “father” and “mother” to continue to be used, as it is repeatedly in Scripture. To be quite frank, when a man and a woman, a father and mother, come together in the marital act, they may (or may not) have a baby! This is the way it should be. Anything else would be perversion.

A “birthing mother” suggests immorality—gross immorality. We know that literally it doesn’t need to be defined in this way, but it does suggest this. And knowing the NEA and the wicked things that this organization propose and stands for, we assume that it is true.

Now is the time for all true Christians to escape—from this liberal organization and every other one similar to this. Begin to educate your children at home! “Come out from their midst and be separate” (2 Corinthians 6:17).
