Be kind to one another,

Compassionate each day;

Be helpful and forbearing,

Be earnest when you pray.

 

Be humble toward each other,

Sincerity display;

Be faithful, pure and honest

And seek the perfect way.

 

Be joyful in your spirit,

Let peace your heart o’erflow;

Be filled with God’s own Spirit

With countenance aglow.

 

A tender-hearted spirit

And gentleness pursue,

Until the people clearly see

The Lord at work in you.
