Yes, the Transgender Military Ban is Discriminatory
Nicole Vanderheiden recently wrote “Transgender Military Ban is Discriminatory.”.
Yes, Nicole, such a ban is discriminatory. To “discriminate’ means “to make sensible decisions; judge wisely.” When we say it’s “sensible” and “wise” for the military to keep one gender from impersonating another gender, we believe that it acts wisely and sensibly.
Actually, the “transgender” should be rejected as a soldier. It must greatly decrease morale in the military. Can you imagine a man going into a woman’s shower in the military or anywhere else?
The same would be true of all perverts—whether lesbians or sodomites, bisexuals and “queers.” The famous “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” policy was also ridiculous. All sexual perverts should be excluded whether they tell of their perversion and immorality or not.
In all of this, we must realize that God in creation made people “male and female” and this distinction must never be blurred or denied!
