We know (or at least we should, unless we are perverted in some way ourselves) that transgenderism is wrong and evil. It violates what God has said in Scripture. What does this mean? According to a leading dictionary, Transgenderism has a definition hence:

“Of, relating to, or being a person (as a transsexual or transvestite) who identifies with or expresses a gender identity that differs from the one which corresponds to the person’s sex at birth” (Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary).

This shows that a transgender individual (a man or woman) is degenerate in his or her thinking and the action of this person is depraved or warped in nature. Although the number of people in this category would be exceedingly minimal, we know that it is a vocal objection to right behavior. And, of course, this would be a subset of Sodomy, which itself is perversion.

It might be of interest for us to know that this terminology goes only back to 1979 (so says the dictionary), so this perversion is somewhat recent and must be dismissed as an aberration. Of course, we know that sodomy goes back thousands of years and this present sexual orientation, though wicked, goes back only a few decades, thus the reader must keep in mind that we are referring to two different sins here. And while both of them represent perversion, we know that the practice that we are now considering would be the more recent.

We did write a whole book on this subject (of sports), entitled The Question of Sports and this does show the wrongfulness and perversity of women participating in men’s sports—as well as the problem that a Christian would have in this. We urge you to get a copy of this volume, read it carefully (even if parts are somewhat dated), and consider the contents carefully.
