Time Slips By. . .
Time slips by like quiet water, taking a part of us with every drop. . . a little quickness of the mind, a little tone of the muscles, a little sharpness of the eye, a little of our youngness, until by and by we find it has taken the best of us, and then it has taken the whole of us, and the grave is but a step away.
Nothing earthly then matters, all that fills our mind is eternity–Am I right with God? Have I wasted my life? Have I been dressing myself for heaven or suiting myself for the condemnation of hell?
