Richard Hollerman
We know that the Catholic Church in the world, including in America. has a reputation for being conservative in many ways. Of course, we don’t refer to theological or Biblical conservatism, for this communion is wildly liberal in many ways. I refer to the Catholicism of today, compared to 300 or 400 or 600 years after Christ.
And so we must say that the situation of the Roman Catholic Church is far different than in the past. Yes, the Catholic Church of 100, 200, or 300 years ago was wrong, dreadfully wrong—and both unbiblical and unscriptural. But we refer to the present beliefs and views of the Catholic Church.
We know that Vatican 2 occurred in the early 1960s, with a change in the Latin Mass to the contemporary practice of any language. So far, so good. It was wrong, strongly wrong, for a denomination to impose a wrongful view on the membership such as this. Further, we know that during the past decades there has been an emphasis on Bible reading, which is the way it should be.
On the other hand, we realize that the Mass had no place in the Liturgy of the church. In fact, liturgy was wrong, per se, and should have been eliminated. In fact, many different changes have occurred in the past years. Women, for instance, tore off their head coverings—which would have violated God’s instructions (1 Corinthians 11:3-16). Sadly, women also began to become feministic in the extreme, violating Scripture, and violating what God says (cf. 1 Timothy 2:12-14; 1 Corinthians 12:3; 1 Peter 3:1-2; etc.).
The view of Scripture, with a disallowance of divorce and remarriage, has now been changed to allow for divorce or annulment in the apostate Catholic Church. Yes, there have been massive changes, some good and some bad, some worthy but some wicked.
Of course, we know that God makes no allowance for the so-called “pope” and many offices are without Scriptural warrant. We refer to the bishop, the arch-bishop, the “Cardinal,” and much more. The Nun, of course, is wrong and should be eliminated. So, as we have said above, the so-called “pope” (“father”) should be eliminated, if we seek to be Biblical in every way. All of this is evil and contrary to God’s express will.
The present “pope” (Francis), from South America (Argentina) is utterly liberal in many ways. We are referring to morality in nature. From what we understand, he does accept various religions (called Pluralism). He accepts bisexualism, sodomy (or homosexuality), transgenderism–all of which would be wrong from a Biblical standpoint. Even if we are mistaken on some of this, we surely are not on the vast majority of it. Just in the past week or two, we learned that Francis (in his upper 80s), is massively wrong and unscriptural in many issues.
We know that the Catholic Church is known for its Scriptural stance, but is utterly mistaken in many different ways. Its mere existence is wrong and should never be. We think that these issues are vast and beyond reach.
Of its clergy, but we also learn that it has a massive problems with pedophilia (child sex abuse) also. We just refer to Dublin, Ireland, and other areas of this conservative nation, but it has been known as a Catholic stronghold in Pedophilia and the like. America itself has become known for its adult and child sex abuse too. Where will all of this lead? We know that Thailand has been known for its child sex industry, but the Catholic Church is there as well.
We don’t think that this merely is a reflection of celibacy of the clergy, which would be wrong. Perhaps some might say that if this were to be changed and if preachers were permitted to marry, things would be different. But we must say that it would be wrong for men to be married and then have sex outside of marriage. All of this would be evil and sinful!
And so we find that Francis is evil beyond compare and allows for all kinds of sexuality in the name of religion. We might call this Catholicism but it is wider than this. In whatever nation it may be found, it is evil and wrong!
Think of the doctrine of Purgatory (a false doctrine), celibacy (that we have mentioned), even denominationalism (with its massive false teaching), and many false positions and offices. Think also of the false names, false views, false cathedrals and churches, false views of the contribution, and the vastly false moral compromises in this church, we just are wondering where it will all end. Think of the false positions and offices, of which there must be thousands upon thousands, we just wonder how could anyone believe and even practice these false ways.
Think of the false views of the “Saints” that we find in Catholicism. Actually, we find not only Joseph and Mary (whom Catholics call the Queen of Heaven), and many others. There are actually books written about these “saints” whereas every single believer is a “Saint” in Biblical terminology.
Think also of the term “saints” in itself. Every Christian is a “saint” and not a small number. Whole books have been written about Catholic “saints.” Further, we know that Mary is dead and not alive. She died years ago, and was buried either in Palestine or perhaps Ephesus. She is not alive, as surely is not “ever virgin.” She must have had 7 or 8 or 10 children, besides Jesus.
Of the 1.3 or 1.5 billion members of the Roman Catholic Church (and the various Orthodox churches) surely this communion is dreadfully wrong. We think that nearly all of them—the members and the churches as a whole (or all of them) are wrong and evil and sinful. If people were to merely read the word of God, the Bible, we think that people should know the difference between right and wrong, between God’s truths and will and what is opposed to this.
