Origin of the Stars?

Origin of the Stars?

Today you ran, “Scientists Detect Signal from ‘Cosmic Dawn,’ when Stars First Lit Up.” Sadly, this represents gross journalistic prejudice and irresponsible reporting! It’s filled with inaccuracies and bigotry.

Seth Borenstein says that astronomers have detected “the dawn of the universe” that occurred 3.6 billion years ago “when the earliest stars were just beginning to glow after the Big Bang.”

First, only “some” scientists have come to this conclusion. There are reputable scientists (astronomers) who reject these evolutionary and atheistic claims. Second, some 50% of Americans reject evolution and the “Big Bang” that the whole article simply assumes. Third, God is the Creator and obviously He was there in the beginning! (He should know the origin of the stars.) Fourth, God’s Word (the Bible) says that “in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1), but the sun, moon, and stars were not created until the fourth day (vv. 14-19). Fifth, why not acknowledge that at least some trained scientists believe God created the universe only thousands of years ago and not billions of years ago?
