OPEN LETTER on Coranovirus

OPEN LETTER

Dear Xi Jinping,

Hello Xi Jinping! I realize that this is an unusual letter and an unusual way to communicate. However, as I think about it, I believe that you (as the president of China) may be interested in my few words and the way that at least one person may think. I do think that I speak for many millions of others.

First, thank you for any good things that you do for your people. And thank you for any blessing that you give to the world. With your vast population and vast resources, you have done much.

Secondly, I realize that you would claim to not believe in God. In other words, I think that you would claim to be an atheist. However, as a believer in God and His written Word (the Bible), we know that there is no true atheist. In other words, everyone knows (in his heart) that God exists and has created all things. In other words, evolution, atheism, and the like are all false. (This is explained in the Bible, Romans 1:18-32).

Xi, if you would like to know more about the true and living God and His Son, Jesus Christ, and His way of going to be with Him for all eternity, I would be happy to correspond with you. It would be a shame to miss out on this wondrous future! Surely 70 or 90 years is not to be compared to everlasting life or everlasting death.

Third, I must raise a very important issue to you. The whole world has been affected by the disease called Coronavirus. As you know, hundreds of thousands of people are affected and thousands of people have died. This includes your own country of China. Now it is found in nearly every single nation of the world, some more and some less.

Xi, according to the news reports, this disease began in Wuhan, China, particularly at the “wet market” where all kinds of exotic wild animals and reptiles are sold and eaten. We refer to bats, snakes, pangolins, and so much more. Yes, you have tried to close these markets down but this has not worked well and many, many people insist on buying, cooking, eating, and sharing such dangerous animals. Supposedly, this is where this dreadful disease originated.

If this is true (and apparently it is), this would mean that this illness has killed thousands of your own people. Further, it has affected hundreds of thousands of people in other countries, many of them fatally. America is spending at least a trillion dollars or maybe two trillion dollars to fight this disease. And tens of millions are now out of work—for weeks. This is the same around the world. In other words, this disease is causing thousands of deaths and is costing one to ten trillions of dollars (and maybe more).

I don’t know how to say this, but I would encourage you to create a financial fund to help reimburse the countries of the world for all of their hardship. Perhaps you could devote ten or even twenty trillions of dollars and send this to places like Italy, France, Germany, Spain, the United States, Korea, and all of the other countries of the world. You could also send some of your best medical people to these countries to help stem the tide of this fatal illness. Now, you don’t need to do this but it is the right thing to do.

I know that of the 1,439,323,776 billion Chinese, many of them are very poor and they can’t afford this. However, China is also very, very rich! It will soon surpass America and will be the wealthiest nation on earth! Thus, China and the Communist party could pay these ten or twenty trillion dollars (with some difficulty) to other countries. As you know, this is the right thing to do.

I will leave this with you—and with your conscience. It is in your hands. You know that this is what God would want and it would also show that you are interested in both your country as well as billions of people in other countries.
