Just this morning, they found 2,000 to 10,000 people who had drowned in the flooding in North Africa! We are referring to Libya, the sworn enemy of the Western World. We don’t know what the final count will be, but 10,000 lost souls are many! Just days before this, we learn that hundreds (thousands?) were slain in Morocco, just West of Libya. As we have said, both of these countries are in North Africa and we wonder what could be next.

Also, as you may know, both of these nations are Islamic countries and if you know much about the area, you realize that these people belong to a false religion. They are mostly Muslims, followers of a false prophet from Arabia from the seventh and eighth centuries AD.

Unless you are a pluralist (please see our recent article about this false doctrine), you realize that these dear people are lost. They have rejected Jesus Christ and His salvation. In other words, they died in a most sad way and a treacherous manner, either by drowning or by the earthquake. And from thence, they were ushered into Hades (Luke 16:19-31) and from there, they surely will face Jesus in Judgment at His Second coming. And from there, they must face Him and His eternal wrath in the lake of Fire, or Gehenna (see 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9; Revelation 14:11-12; 20:11-15; 21:8).

The question that we all must ask is, how is it possible that there are thousands of poor and deceived people who will surely face God in judgment because of their sin? How can these people be rescued from such a terrible fate? We know that it is too late for those who died, but think of the millions who remain! Are we prepared to meet the Lord ourselves and are we ready to give an account for those who were taken in such a horrible way and the millions who will die if they have no hope?
