Massive Lying and Evil

Richard Hollerman

We know that there are many (even millions) who are lamenting the “leak” of the information from the Supreme Court to others. Especially this is true for Democrats who want all (not just some) of the states to be able to kill babies that women would not want. Supposedly it will be determined whether Democrats “leaked” the information (to encourage their people to oppose the loosening of the ability of women to freely murder their babies). Or they will determine whether some renegade Republican “leaked” this information to galvanize their party’s base against the Democrats. Maybe time will determine this.

We think that it is very sad that murder is determined by a “leaked” bit of information by either a Republican or a Democrat. In this land of the “free” of America, it should be safe and secure from wicked opposition at all times and in all circumstances. But apparently it is not. Even if murderous Democrats rejoice in the “striking down” of the Supreme Court ruling of 1973, we know that liberal women who are willing to murder their child are able to go to other states (whether California, or New York, or Vermont, or another) to find a conscienceless doctor who will help to “abort” (kill) their baby!

Personally, we wonder how all of this can be happening in America. We wonder how some states can encourage mothers to abort (kill) their babies. Of course, we know that some of these liberal women and doctors (whether Democrat or Republican) are applauded at any sign that certain Justices are willing to change their minds in regard to killing. They want all or at least a majority to approve of this killing.

Those of you who follow these posts will understand why we call this “massive lying and evil.” Some spokesmen (usually spokeswomen) freely “lie” to support and further their cause. Further, we know that all of this is “massive evil” when the child is at stake.

We are not so naïve to think that there would not be great problems that would come with denying women the right to kill their babies. We can think of the following—but there surely must be many:

  1. In some cases, the fathers would be left out of the process. Of course, we know that some fathers are urging their wife to murder his baby. But sometimes this is not the case.
  2. We realize that many (probably most) of these mothers have been deceived by the media, by their friends, and by others into thinking that this is a good decision.
  3. We realize that abortion (the killing of a child) doesn’t just happen uncaused. Generally (if we understand the situation) abortion is an effort to “cover up” or “eradicate” the child to prevent money problems or to prevent the great amount of extra time needed to care for a baby or help this child to grow.
  4. We know that if sixty million babies come into the world, unwanted, this may create another problem—of families with children that they don’t want!
  5. The school system may be affected—at least for 12 or 14 million children, forced to be raised by an educational system unprepared to teach them.
  6. Obtaining teachers for this many additional children may be a problem.
  7. In no way would it be possible for all of these children to be placed into “foster homes” or be raised by parents who don’t want the child.
  8. If this encourages families to fall apart, this could be a further burden on the state.
  9. If this encourages divorce in those families with unwanted children, we know that God has forbidden divorce and wants families to remain together.

These are some of the “problems” that come to mind if abortion is approved in not just half of the states but others. We know that there are many other “issues” that would need to be faced. We think of the tens of millions of baby-killings that occur in other countries—such as Russia, China, Japan, India, and others. We also think of the great amount of finances that all of this would cost. We think of the poor children who would be brought into the world, unwanted and uncared for. Then there would be the child abuse that might occur if unwanted babies and children come into abusive families. Then there is the fact that there are millions upon millions of families that should not be families since adultery would be involved.

If abortion becomes legal in half of the states (the more liberal ones, presumably) and not in the others, would mothers need to travel to the more “liberal” states to kill their unwanted babies? Would there be a problem if these relatively “poor” families do need to travel a distance in order to murder their babies?

There is a scripture that says, “Children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward” (Psalm 127:2-3, ESV). Let me ask you. If someone gave you a gift, would it be respectful for you to trample it under foot? Would it show a despising for you to throw it away or deny it? Likewise, for you to throw away or even kill a baby that God has given to you, would this not be disrespectful? If God gives you something, would not the proper response be to receive it with gratitude and treasure it? Yes, it would. Likewise, if we were to murder the “gift” of a baby, would this not be disrespectful of God the Giver?

As you can see, the problems could be massive and the consequences might be great. If all of this could be wiped out and everyone were to be saved, this may solve some of the problems. But you and I know that this will never happen. We can only surmise.

In all of this, we must commit this to God who creates all, who is interested in all, who loves all, and whose wisdom is infinite. May He work all of this out for His glory and honor! Let’s determine to do right ourselves in all circumstances. If you or a friend has already sinned by killing your baby, we urge you to repent and do right henceforth. Further, we know that we are living in an evil age and in a wicked country. Let us shine as lights in this world for the glory of God (Philippians 2:12-14; Matthew 5:14ff). May God be praised!
