Again and again we learn of the wicked doings on the illegal migrant crisis along the Border with Mexico. This would include Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California. I don’t know the percentage that these states contribute to the “crisis” that is now unfolding but with ten million illegal crossings from perhaps 150 different nations, we know that it is great.
We understand that there are massive border issues in the various countries of the world. People are being murdered and this has occurred again and again in America and in other countries. Just this morning, my wife came to me and wondered why I said that such a person should be “put away” for a year or two. I told her about what was online, she understood. There was an attack on police officers by a number of “illegals” and they were able to overcome these officers. This is why there was a spontaneous outburst of support for the police and denunciation of the attackers.
So what is so special about the ones killed in America? How do we really look at the millions of people who have invaded the country? What about the crude, violent, and evil people who have done and are doing such wicked things? We do wonder about the violent and evil people who are the perpetrators of these things. We wonder about the mothers, the fathers, and others in places of leadership and authority and how could this sort of atrocity occur?
But we must back off and wonder further. If this is the way that we find circulating among us and if this has occurred, perhaps we should not really be too surprised with what we find. If we find that bad elements have been involved in this, but there are some who are not. We surely don’t say that any of these people are saved or know God (some of them are Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, or nothing), but we do wonder about these others who commit crimes and hurt others.
With nine billion people in the world, we hear and read of rapists, violent felons, those who push drugs, those who are involved in stealing, in murder, in violence, in adultery, in fornication, in sodomy, and in many other sins. How can we put up with this wickedness? So it is not merely violent “migrants” but people in general who commit these sins. Not everyone is “law-abiding” and peaceful, and submissive to authorities, but from what we see above, some of them are evil beyond measure and (as Paul tells us) are worthy of death!
This is the world in which we live and, although we may hear those who question this, they are wicked exceedingly. With much that is positive around us, we know that we live in a world given over to sin. In the days of Noah, the whole earth was destroyed because of evil. Let us not be surprised that the world is evil today! Yes, some of them are “migrants.” Some are among the nine million terrorists. Some of them are invaders to our shores.
These people need Jesus and His salvation! Let us think of them and do what we can to reach them.
