Quite frankly, a person who suffers from “mental illness” is wrong. Yet, we know that there are millions of people including “health” professionals, who make this claim and believe it. So widespread is this that government elements of America and many other nations would believe, accept, and promote this view. Billions of dollars are devoted to this and it is claimed that thousands of murders are attributed to this so-called malady.
Yes, there may be problems with the mentality of people and there may be sickness involved, but sadly we think that this is wrongly diagnosed as “mental illness.” We encourage you to read the works of Jay Adams and his organization of “Nouthetic Counselors” for answers to this matter.
We have recently been exposed to this term on the internet. As you may remember, the deranged murderer who was much in the news killed many people and injured many more until he finally killed himself here in October in 2023.
Down through the years, we know that in the halls of justice, the plea of “mental illness” has been made. The murderers have probably been sent to “mental institutions” or something similar to this. Years ago, of course, they would have either been executed or sent to a Penitentiary for a certain length of time. In more recent years, educators, politicians, and others have referred to this as a malady worthy of our compassion and help. Sadly this is a false plea and, as it is used, surely “mental illness” doesn’t exist. The person has a condition, most of whom are worthy of death, but it is not a “mental” condition. Both liberal and conservative legislators urge us to accept this assessment.
In the case of the Maine perpetrator (or murderer), with the high powered gun, and was it many “rounds” of ammunition?. he killed himself and could not be apprehended, although we understand that dozens (hundreds?) of law-enforcement police were involved in hunting for him. As to how many others in America and other countries who have committed similar killings, similar to this, we just don’t know.
“Mental” illness. Yes, of course, there is such a thing as this, but probably the “mention” of illness they write and talk about are not truly “mental” in nature. And most of this is false, a fabrication, and a result of liberal thinking. There are a few genuine cases of “Mental” Illness but the vast majority of cases are false.
