God is Still in Control Today!

We know that some people who profess to be conservative “Christians” assumed that God would “come through” and still grant the victory for Donald Trump and His agenda. As best I understand the situation, most of them are aware that the President is a wicked man, filled with pride and great lust, and he has an evil tongue, yet they thought that regardless of the obvious negatives, God would still show Himself strong today, at this time of the presidential inauguration in America. In other words, we know that in spite of the numerous negatives for Trump, we know that the Biden administration is and will be greatly evil to the country of the United States. But God chose to completely change this administration!

(I am aware that thousands of people outside of America read our messages, so we must apologize for making a message that directly relates to the United States. Perhaps you also have or will face similar circumstances.)

Probably at this time, millions of people are wondering why God would allow this to happen. Why did God allow Joe Biden to win and become the next president of the United States? Most of us know that Biden is a wicked man who stands opposed to so many righteous principles. And why did the Lord allow Kamala Harris to also prevail when there are so many wicked aspects to her election and positions? To anyone who reveres God’s written Word, we know that this duo is and will be evil almost beyond compare.

We must realize that the outcome of the election and what happened today was evidently more than God “allowing” this to happen. God is orchestrating this for His own glory. It was Paul, of course, who said that “there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God” (Romans 13:1). Earlier in the same verse, the apostle wrote this: “Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities (v. 1). This would mean that although Biden and Harris are despicable persons with evil views (and they have over 50 million Democrat followers), we must obey their leadership except in those areas where they would want us to personally sin against God! Many of the foolish policies that they plan to implement are of their own doing, along with their Democrat followers, and the Christian is not obligated to follow their lead.

Probably, we should cite another relevant verse: “The Most High [God] is ruler over the ream of mankind, and bestows it on whom He wishes and sets over it the lowliest of men” (Daniel 4:17b). God bestows the kingship “on whomsoever He wishes” (4:25b). This would mean that even if the present administration and presidency of America are evil people, still we must obey them, as long as this obedience doesn’t pit us against the revealed will of God (Acts 4:19-20; 5:29).

We understand from this verse (Romans 13: that the authority of Biden and Harris is “from God” and that these two evil authorities are “established by God.” Does this surprise you? But consider: Wasn’t it God who was involved in the Roman Empire and didn’t He work in such  evil characters as Nero as well as those who preceded him and those who followed him? Didn’t these wicked men put to death countless followers of Christ? Then how was it that the Lord allowed these men to take the throne and control human affairs?

Maybe you viewed the televised recording of the Biden/Harris inauguration today. (I don’t have TV but I did see it on the Internet.) If you did see it, you will probably agree that there were some interesting features. They had a country-western singer who sang “Amazing Grace.” They said that both Biden and Harris went to a Roman Catholic Church this morning (and that Biden often attends this Catholic service when he is in town). These and other expressions show that this was not an anti-religious inauguration, even though it had many false teachings. It was part of false religion, orchestrated by Satan himself! Of course, there was much boasting about many things—something that God hates (cf. Romans 1:30). And some of the evil agendas of these two were mentioned. We must say that hypocrisy was very evident—with their claiming one thing while these items were opposed to the very God that they claimed!

By this, we mean that various policies will be in place within the first 100 days or sooner(they claim). For instance, they hold to a false “global warming” view. They plan to reinstate the evil plan to kill (totally wipe out) babies under Planned Parenthood. They plan to spend more money for their agendas—billions of dollars more! They plan to cancel many positive measures enacted by the previous administration. Of course, the extreme feminist agenda was very prominent. Not only did Biden choose Harris as his running-mate (something that was surely very offensive to God!), but other feminist expressions were apparent. We noticed that Kamala Harris had a very feminist position in San Francisco in California. So many additional negative and wicked plans were stated. And, of course, you know that Kamala is an adulteress (having a previously married man) just as Trump was an avid adulterer.

As we said earlier, if God used a wicked Roman Empire 2000 years ago, He can also use the wickedness of the Biden/Harris pair today! While we may not agree with many ideas and utterly oppose them, God has a way of working in and through them. Whether this will continue for four years or whether it could extend for years beyond this, we don’t know. God can actually wipe out either or both of these evil persons at any time He chooses. But let’s remember that we were displeased with some of the arrogant policies of Donald Trump. Whether Pence is completely finished or whether he might come back in four years, we don’t know.

Biden is the oldest president in history at this point and we inwardly wonder if he could die in office—since he does have health problems. Sadly, this would mean that his running-mate (Kamala Harris) would become the next President of the United States. We find this not only bizarre, but also wicked and utterly shameful. Although some liberal nations of the world do have women leaders, many don’t have this and wouldn’t think of having this..  And, we know from Scripture, that it is a shame and even an offense for a woman to be thrust into such a leadership capacity (1 Corinthians 11:3-16; Ephesians 5:22-33; 1 Peter 3:1; Titus 2:3-5; 1 Timothy 3:1ff). Again, while this may be a shame and an abomination, God is still in charge and He can show Himself strong in the midst of this sort of wickedness.

Although we may wonder how God could allow this turn of events to happen, let’s remember that God’s will shall be done. He works “according to His kind intention” and “works all things after the counsel of His will” (Ephesians 1:9, 11). He allowed this to happen even as He allowed Donald Trump to take his position and work according to God’s will. We may wonder why this would be. We know that already, Satan is using this wicked pair in His ways for they seem to be very aggressive in their plans.

Why did God allow such despicable persons as Biden, Harris, and Trump to assume the positions that they eventually had? I don’t know. And I am not God. But the Lord who knows all has chosen to use these people for His purposes at this time. Let us trust Him in this and at all times! We know that some say that this is merely the “tip of the iceberg” and that much evil exists below the surface. This may be. It would seem that major networks, universities, Hollywood, and much more is involved. We really don’t know where it will end.

We only know that we are to continue to love, continue to trust, and continue to exalt our blessed God! He knows what He is doing even though we don’t!
