If any of you have followed these comments for many weeks or months or even years, you know that we have a strong devotion to the ways of God. We don’t mean by this that we oppose and denounce the false ways of religions around us or the churches that we find in the world. But does mean that our commitment to truth and our devotion to the right way would be so intense that anything that would differ from the right way must be rejected.

If we can reason in any way, we know this. There are now nearly nine billion different people in the world. There are many kinds of religions, of course, from Animism, to Atheism, to Agnosticism, to Confucianism. There would be Taoism, to Buddhism, to Hinduism, to Shinto, to Islam. Some, such as the Chinese religions profess to be atheistic, but we know that they aren’t.

Although China, with its atheistic non-religious systems, are officially atheistic and non-religious, but these devout people are devoted to the party of which they come. They may be atheistic in form, but as someone has pointed out, no one is a true atheist but even those who profess to not believe in God do believe in the Lord in one way or another.

We know that there are perhaps 1.3 to 1.5 billion Catholics and three or four hundred million Orthodox, along with as many as one billion Protestants. These Protestants (of which there may be thousands of different sects), may come from many different but false groups. There would be Anglicans, Methodists, Lutherans, Presbyterians, and others. They would all or mostly be wrong and evil in nature, but there may be at least some who are true and right in God’s sight.

We are making this a long and unwieldy article, we know, but the point we wish to make is that there are many, many different groups, and most of them are false and wrong. Most need God. We know that most or nearly all are wrong in many ways. We read many articles and even hear and see different ones online, and we realize that of these hundreds and thousands, written by this many people, these dear but deceived people think that they are right and will be received by God in heave. We find this utterly sad for surely they are not right and acceptable to God.

Although there may be “false” ways and “true” ways, we realize that most of these dear devoted men and woman are wrong in the sight of God. They are not prepared to meet Him and to be with Jesus for all eternity. Are you?
