Evil and Perversion in Many Places!

Evil in the Democratic Party with Anderson Cooper

We know that true followers of Christ Jesus will not involve themselves in politics or governmental issues. This probably will be the case of the leading personalities in the Republican Party, the Democratic Party, as well as the Independents. From the Christian standpoint, all of them are under the wrath of God. Whether we are speaking about political parties, Hollywood personalities, or others, we find widespread evil. This may not be the case in the Far East, Africa, South America, or the Near East, but in America and Europe it definitely prevails. But today, let’s ask about Anderson Cooper whom probably most of our readers will recognize.

According to Wikipedia, this well-known personality (Anderson Cooper) is “an American broadcast journalist and political commentator. He is the primary anchor of the CNN news broadcast show Anderson Cooper 360°. In addition to his duties at CNN, Cooper serves as a correspondent for 60 Minutes on CBS News.” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anderson _Cooper), Thus, it seems that CBS and CNN are open to the wickedness of this personality. Is this as far as it goes? Not at all. As we dig deeper, we find that there is more.

According to the above source, we discover the following about Cooper:

Born into the Vanderbilt family in Manhattan, Cooper graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in 1989. As a young journalist, he began traveling the world, shooting footage of war-torn regions for Channel One News. Cooper was hired by ABC News as a correspondent in 1995, but he soon took more jobs throughout the network, working for a short time as a co-anchor, reality game show host, and fill-in morning talk show host.

I suppose that this sounds rather exciting for it shows that Anderson was quite involved in the News Organization. But of even greater concern is this information given by this well-known news source: “Cooper came out as gay in 2012, becoming “the most prominent openly gay journalist on American television” at the time, according to The New York Times. In 2016, Cooper became the first openly LGBT person to moderate a presidential debate, and he has received several awards from the LGBT rights organization GLAAD.” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anderson_Cooper).

Obviously, there is much, much more that we could say about this accomplished journalist! But the greatest concern is what we revealed above!

The same article above reveals the following:

Cooper is openly gay; according to The New York Times, he is “the most prominent openly gay journalist on American television”. For years, Cooper avoided discussing his private life in interviews. On July 2, 2012, however, he gave Andrew Sullivan permission to publish an email that stated, in part:

I’ve begun to consider whether the unintended outcomes of maintaining my privacy outweigh personal and professional principle. It’s become clear to me that by remaining silent on certain aspects of my personal life for so long, I have given some the mistaken impression that I am trying to hide something—something that makes me uncomfortable, ashamed or even afraid. This is distressing because it is simply not true. … The fact is, I’m gay, always have been, always will be, and I couldn’t be any more happy, comfortable with myself, and proud.

Apple CEO Tim Cook turned to Cooper for advice before he subsequently made the decision to publicly come out as gay.

In 2014, Cooper and his partner purchased Rye House, a historic estate in Connecticut. In March 2018, Cooper confirmed that he and his long-time boyfriend Benjamin Maisani had split up.

This is enough about Cooper’s background. Of course, we don’t merely refer to his “pride” (a sin in itself) but the sexuality of which he boasts.  We have seen his corrupt and wicked lifestyle. What concerns me is that this personality is applauded and accepted by millions of people in America regardless of his evil lifestyle! Even the Apple CEO seems to have accepted him and his perverse sexuality. He has been called “the most prominent openly gay journalist on American television”. Regardless of his perverted sexuality, it seems that multitudes of people in this country have accepted him as representing a viable lifestyle. We know that not everyone in the world accepts homosexuality but it is accepted by a growing number of Americans and Europeans.

We know that those who may cater to Anderson Cooper and to the CBS broadcast “60 Minutes” (and to CNN) may endorse and love Cooper and accept his perverse lifestyle, and we also know that those who are devotees of CBS, may be perverse themselves and agree with Cooper’s sinful sexuality, but, sadly, this does represent vast numbers of people in America. We ask, what is really wrong with America and other sexual “hot spots” in the world?

As we muse upon these things, we are not utterly distraught about the way that wicked nations such as Russia, China, and similar ones may denounce the debauchery of the United States. I realize that many may look down upon the violence, the repression, and the abject slavery that we find in such countries (and rightly so) but we also must acknowledge that there may be some semblance of “law and order” (at times) in these countries. Yes, much evil but also at least some order. Isn’t this confusing, frustrating, and bizarre?

When it comes to such sexually perverse people as Anderson Cooper, we must (of course) denounce this but let’s remember that there are thousands of others who also manifest such evil, whether we are speaking about this news anchor or ones like him. We realize that even some of those who read these words are as evil and perverse as Cooper.

We hope that the reader will not assume that sodomy is fully accepted in certain countries of the world. We read this:

In most of Africa, Asia, and Latin America, both the subject and the behaviour are considered taboo, with some slight exception made in urban areas. In Western countries, attitudes were somewhat more liberal. (https://www.britannica.com/topic/homosexuality).

In other words, some of the countries represented by this internet means are as wicked as Cooper and others like him. But there are millions (billions?) in the world who likewise denounce such debauchery.

What about political leaders in America?  We discover that people like Bill Clinton, Barak Obama, Joe Biden and others have been outspoken proponents of sodomy. Through their wicked agendas, it seems that many of the roadblocks against this immorality have been removed. Not only this, but (especially through the educational institutions of America and Europe) we discover that there is a growing acceptance of sexual immorality. When God’s Word is no longer the guiding light, we find that educators, actors, politicians, and others hold sway.

We read this about the present president in America, Joe Biden:

LGBTQ rights activists generally agree that Biden has accomplished many of the things he said he’d do for the community in the first 100 days of his presidency, most of them through executive orders. A new GLAAD poll of 800 lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer adults found that 78 percent said Biden is doing an excellent or good job as president. From everything that I’ve read about Joe Biden, he has promoted the wickedness and perversion of sodomy in many ways and these perverse people and followers recognize his contribution to their nefarious cause.

When it comes to Hollywood, we must remember that homosexuality is “alive and well.” Such people as Ellen DeGeneres, Jodie Foster, Zachary Quinto, Robin Roberts, Elton John, and others are involved in the homosexual lifestyle.

We discover that Political figures in the Biden administration are also involved in this evil lifestyle. For example, we read this:

President-elect Joe Biden has repeatedly vowed to make LGBTQ rights a priority in his administration. But he won’t be working alone: The former vice president has already tapped LGBTQ appointees for several key roles and gay rights advocates are hopeful that more will be named, including the first out Cabinet member confirmed by the Senate. There’s also a push, should an opening become available, for him to nominate the first openly LGBTQ justice to the Supreme Court. https://www.nbcnews.com/feature/nbc-out/biden-administration-track-be-most-lgbtq-inclusive-u-s-history-n1250010 )

Again, we notice this:

The Biden-Harris transition team has promoted the president-elect’s “commitment to building an administration that looks like America.”

On Sunday, Karine Jean-Pierre, an out lesbian and chief of staff for Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, was announced as deputy press secretary, and Pili Tobar, an immigration rights advocate and former aide to Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., was named deputy White House communications director. Tobar, a lesbian, also worked as a communications director for the Biden campaign.

We know that there are many (perhaps millions) of Americans who may endorse and even applaud these wicked people, but Christians will be in dismay because of this openly wicked agenda.

Black Lives Matter may also produce a sodomite perspective but this is not always the case. Of course, we know that this movement is degenerate for other reasons—the stealing (looting), the vicious and wicked speech, etc. It’s it amazing how many sins are produced by those who do not know God and even oppose Him!

We know that as Russia invades and overpowers the Ukraine, many sins (such as lies) has overtaken the world. Yet we know that sexual immorality (that sadly will send billions of people to hell), including sodomy and related sins (such as adultery, fornication, etc.) will overtake and overcome many others. The account of Anderson Cooper and those like him illustrates this.

We would call on all followers of the Holy Son of God, Jesus Christ, to live holy and godly lives themselves. Let’s not be regulated by people like Cooper who will surely spend eternity in the lake of fire. Let’s not let the evil around us to pull us down but to live lives of godliness. Let’s remember the sobering words of John:

All that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever (1 John 16-17).

We know that there are probably some readers who will become so upset with what we have written that they may seek to think and do something bizarre that God would not want.  But let’s remember that what Russia and China and Ukraine does need not affect us. What Anderson Cooper, Pete Buttigeig, Ellen DeGeneres, and Jodie Foster does will be judged by a holy, righteous, and wrathful God.

But we can live lives of holiness in the midst of this wicked world. We are to “deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age” (Titus 2:12). Are you willing to live in this way? Am I? May God help us.
