We think that most of our readers who believe the Bible would rightly oppose a woman’s public participation in “church” matters (and other matters, we might add). But today we learned of a public and “wild” or outrageous violation of Scripture that apparently many have not really opposed this. In fact, apparently millions have endorsed this!
We know that the Anglican Church broke away from the Catholic Church in the 16th century (after the Catholic Church arose perhaps in the 3rd or 4th century or later). Today, we find that 85 million people call Anglicanism their home (https://en.wikipedia.org/ wiki/Anglican_Communion). Begun in England, this denomination is now found around the world. Africa seems to be a leading location but other countries contribute to this number.
Traditionally, the Anglican Church has been somewhat conservative. Yet, we know that today this communion is leading the way in many non-Biblical ways, such as feminism, sodomy, and other matters. They, of course, have never been truly saved, believing in infant baptism, a totally false leadership structure, churchianity, ecclesiastical apostasy, and much more. Immorality (such as transgenderism, sodomy, adultery, and so forth, are very prevalent).
Today, in our reading and research, we learned of many other aspects of this apostasy. We wonder how far afield they can be but there apparently is no end to this.
We learn that there are about 85 million members of the Church of England (the Anglican Church) in a church that was reformulated in 1867 but dates back to the 16th century. But, sadly, the 85 million people in this ecclesiastical fellowship are very apostate. We know that the American Episcopal Church has fallen into grave apostasy and must be rejected, but what of the others? Yes, we know that African Anglicans seek to stem the tide of this apostasy, but they themselves are deeply involved is this as well
Just today or recently, we learned of a further element that is wildly apostate. This is what we mean.
Every Christian knows that women are not to lead a church in any way. Yes, we know that liberal Methodists, some Pentecostals, and others, participate in this evil, but some would not. Of course, this involves the whole realm of churchly leadership and the Anglicans have greatly errored in this. We know, for example that a woman is not to “utter a sound” in the assembly and surely are not to lead. Yet we have discovered that this apostate church has chosen “Rev” Wendy Dalrympe as their coming president. Of course, not only is a woman not to lead and be silent, but surely she is not to become president of an unscriptural organization.
Wendy not only is called a “Reverend,” and is a “Priest,” and was “rector” of a former Anglican Church, but this is now a sodomite church in the Church of England. It should be noted that “most” of the people who attended the last church conference that chose her approved and applauded her appointment! This would mean that they not only know the command of the Lord regarding this, but they applaud those who “practice” this apostasy, thus are “worthy of death” (see Romans 1:32).
Wendy is filled with Tattoos on her arms. But this is what the London Rev. Wendy Dalrymple’s tattoos deemed ‘disgusting’ by some as ecclesiastical policy says this backlash is ‘unacceptable’ for this former leaders says about the majority who would oppose this
The former priest and archbishop, David Monteith, said this:
Dean of Canterbury David Monteith, a Northern Irish Anglican priest in the Church of England, tweeted his response to the online hate by saying, in part, that he was “saddened by the abuse she has received.”
We announced the appointment of our new Precentor. [He said:] Just so saddened by the abuse she has received. Determined to shape as a cathedral which addresses misogyny, entitled power and prejudice because the love of Jesus requires that. (https://www.foxnews.com/lifestyle/tattooed-reverend-gets-hate-online-canterbury-cathedral-defends-appointment-leadership-role)
We know that women are to be submissive in all circumstances and they are forbidden to have a leading role, but they are definitely not to partake of church offices. (See 1 Corinthians 11:3; Ephesians 5:22-33; Philippians 1:1; Colossians 3:18-19; 1 Timothy 3:1-13; Titus 2:4-5.).
We wonder why this woman who is totally wrong in so many ways, in a church that is totally wrong in so many ways, would bring down an ecclesiastical body such as this, composed of 85 million members, and thereby send them to Hades? Just why? We think that this is beyond all reason and part of the apostasy that is engulfing the world. We know that Wendy and David are not only at fault, but 85 million members!
