Bruce Willis
This article will be necessarily brief. We are dealing with a “big name” Hollywood personality worth about 250 million dollars. This is what we read on the internet:
Bruce Willis is an American actor, producer, and singer. Let’s be honest, most of us know him as John McClane from the hit ‘Die Hard’ series. Yet, he’s still appeared in over 60 films and built a very successful acting career.
We assume that you have heard of this personality and would be interested in him and what he is doing. You may have heard of his physical and emotional condition. For some years now, he has been going “downhill” and presently he can barely speak. He no longer makes movies. He can speak—with some difficulty. He continues to be married—to his second wife. We read this:

Born in 1955 in the United States of America, Willis stared in more than 60 movies. Yet we know that he has developed
You and I may think that with $250 million and well known around the world, Willis would be doing all he can to get right with God. We all need to die and meet God, don’t we?. We all need to give an account of our life and our perspective to God our Creator. We all need to come to God through Christ and find His abundant forgiveness. With the many sinful moves he has made, he does have much for which to repent. But God does allow for this.
But what is Willis’ view in light of his more recent decrease of health and his limited time here? We read this as an answer:
Bruce has been a Lutheran, but now expresses extreme distaste for organized religions and has said things that imply a sort of pantheism.
Bruce goes his own way, but probably leans a little more towards being a Republican or libertarian.

We wouldn’t fault Willis for not being for “organized religion” but, of course, we would recognize his stated views regarding God and His will. We would object, of course, to his present “pantheistic” view. Notice this:
“Organized religions in general, in my opinion, are dying forms. They were all very important when we didn’t know why the sun moved, why weather changed, why hurricanes occurred, or volcanoes happened. Modern religion is the end trail of modern mythology. But there are people who interpret the Bible literally. Literally! I choose not to believe that’s the way.”

Again, we must say that we really can’t understand a perspective such as this. Surely this personality will soon be gone—perhaps sooner rather than later. His time on earth is short—very, very short. While he may live another trillion years (in eternity), his moment on earth is nearly at the end. One would think that he would think, and think hard, in order to prepare for that momentous event of his own death.
But no, it seems that Willis is content to leave this world unprepared to meet God. Maybe this needs to be changed somewhat. He will meet God and it will be sooner than he and we may think. He has never repented. He has made this clear. He has never come to Christ for the forgiveness of his sins.
We would only say that Willis may be a “hero” in the eyes of millions but he is without hope. That is, unless he repents, believes in God, and turns to Christ Jesus, the Son of God. He apparently is living in adultery and he would surely want to repent of this and live in celibacy henceforth. May God help him!
