We found the following except from Answers Magazine, October to December, 2023. It says much and it is something that we should take to heart.
Years ago, we know that pornography was a rare phenomenon. Yes, it was found occasionally, but then perhaps a hundred years ago, we find pornography with the pictures that became commonplace, and then the magazines that began to proliferate, and then came TV with its visual presentations, and then the computer, with its many visual images of evil. Today, nearly “anything goes” regarding this form of depravity. Perversion is all around and continues.
Thus, we find the following excerpt to be worthy of considering in light of this present situation:
According to new research by Cultural Currents Institute, online searches relating to sexual orientation and gender identity have risen by more [than 1,300% since 2004. (Yes, you read this correctly.] Searches including “Am I gay?” and “How do I come out” were highest in Oklahoma and Utah, traditionally conservative states.
This analysis reveals not only the confused state of our culture but also the questions people are asking. Sadly, many are looking to man’s opinion when they should be looking to God’s Word, the true authority on gender and sexuality. Scripture makes it clear that God created only two genders, male and female (Genesis 1:27).
May Christians speak up and lovingly point people to Scripture, where we find answers to life’s toughest questions and hope for the future.
Whether one lives in Utah or Oklahoma, or anywhere else in the United States or the world, we know that God knows best. He has the answers as to whether one should pursue sodomy or fornication or any other sexual sin. We know that “gay” is not really “gay” but actually sodomy. And we know that transgenderism is not this but a perversion of God’s will and creative design.
Will we follow God and His Word or the modern substitute for this? Will we seek answers from the Scriptures rather than the false and fallible words of men?
