If you happen to be like me, you may wonder why the country (of the United States) seems to be in a mess in many ways. We are not just speaking of the present administration, with Joe Biden (and Kamila Harris) and the Democrats, but the previous administration too. We know that Trump also was a corrupt and evil man (having been married many times), a public record of entertainment through TV, and he gained his money in various nefarious undertakings. We also know that Obama was wicked for the whole of his eight years, with numerous negatives in his activities.

Of course, they were human and showed this in many ways. But we must wonder about how evil such people can be. These and other people have led this nation down the “primrose path” of evil and perhaps annihilation. The United States has become the “laughing stock” of the world and other countries must “laugh” at such foolishness and degeneration!

The same could be said of many other presidents before these later ones. For instance, Ronald Regan, the former Hollywood star, then became President, was the first one to openly commit adultery through remarriage and lived his public life with this scandal. Clinton committed unspeakable wickedness in the White House itself. And John Kennedy (whom many liked) was the first to be a Roman Catholic, opposed by conservative people. It seems that this office is prone to evil, sexuality, immorality, theological compromise, and so forth. Thus, we are not just speaking of Democrats here or Republicans but leadership in general.

We could say the same for Franklin D. Roosevelt, who was the first to promote a socialistic agenda in America. Then there was Theodore Roosevelt, the President who slaughtered animals in America and abroad. Abraham Lincoln was definitely an agnostic and pluralistic person and murdered thousands through his administration. Thomas Jefferson was quite a skeptic and wrote a book totally excising the miraculous and the atonement. George Washington was an Anglican and militarist but did believe in the Bible.

Of course, I speak or write as a Christian and many or all of these men either didn’t profess Christianity, or failed to believe and practice anything approaching true Christianity. They may have promoted a popular form of religion and were deeply involved in churchianity (some of them), but they failed to really believe and practice the truth. Thus, they contributed to the “mess” that this country experienced in the last several centuries.

We might ask, “What can we expect from secular or religious people, including patriotic men (no women, so far) who promoted Americanism in its many forms.” Of course, they were men and condemned feminism (at first) but then later fully embraced this perversion. They were and would have been opposed to transgender ideology, believing that God created men and woman, not an androgynous sex. They opposed sodomy, calling it the “sin against nature.” They all promoted or were involved in militarism, some even being responsible for killing hundreds of thousands (such as Lincoln).  All were opposed to divorce (until Regan, who was the first open twice-married president) and John Kennedy (the first open Catholic). Of course, we know of his extensive adultery. So much more could be pointed out. Thus, we need to be aware that our “founding fathers” and early leaders were not “lily white” in their stance!

We know that these men were part of the “upside down” world in the past days or years of America. Today, we earnestly want to be Americans and Americans fully, but we must really acknowledge the truth about the past of this country. We will be dishonest to do otherwise. We would be seeing America with “rose colored” glasses and believe what is false.

Just today, on the phone, I again was reminded of how evil this nation is with a woman promoting the killing of babies (abortion), and then we also think of the many who are involved in fornication or premarital sex. We find this so sad. But we must remind ourselves that this is not the Kingdom of God but a fallible and evil country with numerous faults, for it is made up of wicked men and women who have no regard for their Creator and deny God, the Maker of all.

Sadly, there have been notices the last day or two about Putin and his efforts to rid the wicked country of Russia (with an apostate ruler of an apostate organization—the Russian Orthodox Church) of Western sexual abnormalities and evil moral influences. What are we to say? On the one hand, we have an evil leader and an evil organization, and on the other hand, we have an effort to avoid the evil influences of a Western immoral plan! This surely is an evil, wicked, and bizarre arrangement, one that is not easy to see and overcome!

Even the report (of which there have been several from liberal, immoral sources) reads this way:

The bill, which was approved unanimously by both houses of parliament, bans any “medical interventions aimed at changing the sex of a person,” as well as changing one’s gender in official documents and public records. The only exception will be medical intervention to treat congenital anomalies.

It also annuls marriages in which one person has “changed gender” and bars transgender people from becoming foster or adoptive parents.

The ban is said to stem from the Kremlin’s crusade to protect what it views as the country’s “traditional values.” Lawmakers say the legislation is to safeguard Russia against “Western anti-family ideology,” with some describing gender-transitioning as “pure satanism.”

Russia’s crackdown on LGBTQ people started a decade ago when Putin first proclaimed a focus on “traditional family values,” supported by the Russian Orthodox Church.

In 2013, the Kremlin adopted legislation that banned any public endorsement of “non-traditional sexual relations” among minors. Besides the radical anti-morality statement and report, we find that the Russians do regard this: “crackdown on LGBTQ people.” Of course, they should oppose “lesbians” and “gays” and “bisexuals” and “transsexuals” and “queer” people. All of these are sodomites and in the Old Covenant they were to be slain. Although we don’t kill them today, we must oppose these perverts strongly. We also read (above) that Putin “pushed through” a ban and this is a high-charged and evil reporting technique.

But we must ask about both Putin from Russia, Selenski from Ukraine, and (let us go further), Biden from America. What shall we do? What is left for us to do? What is left for us to do regarding leaders who are irresponsible and evil? This is the question. Whether we are speaking of the perversions that they would oppose or any evil of which they are part, just what should we think? We definitely are in an “upside-down world”!
