Dear Xi Jinping (part 7)
Dear Xi Jinping,
I am glad to be able to address you again in this manner. Let me mention a couple things for our mutual blessing.
We realize that there are many positives in the nation of China. You have been a blessing to not only America but many other countries as well. For all of this we wish to send our commendations. We do hope that any blessings that you can give to this country and to others and especially to the country of China will continue to expand! We know that through the economy of China, you have been able to receive positives and we also know that through the input of America, China has benefitted. This should continue.
Yet, Xi, we wish to go further. We do believe that you have harmed millions (billions?) of people, including your own people there in China. This must stop! Further, we wish to also express our disappointment in the Communism that continues there in your nation. This has done so much harm over the years (has it continued since about 1949?). The Communists in Russia, in North Korea, and elsewhere have done much harm to many people and, of course, we implore you to bring this to an end!
We know that Communism is a political system but it is much more! Communism is built on atheism and all it stands for. I urge you to be open to reading God’s Word (that you and others know as the “Bible”). Please make the reading of the Bible available to all of your citizens. Allow them to freely read and distribute this book to others. It will be for the good of 1.5 billion of your own citizens!
Further, we urge you to renounce the evil persecution and incarceration of people under your own power. We realize that many of these people believe and teach wicked views but allow them to decide what to pursue instead of deciding this for them. This is called “freedom” and it must be done. It will be very hard for a Communist regime to allow this, but it must be so–for your sake and for the sake of others!
Xi Jinping, until we continue this written conversation, I plead with you to consider these words. May God bless you in every way!
–Richard Hollerman
