An Open Letter to Xi Jinping

Dear Xi Jinping (part 6),

It has now been some months since I have written to you by this means. Obviously, I don’t expect that you, personally, would even read my messages on this little website. But perhaps you have some low-level official who is responsible for monitoring anything written to you and about you and also about your policies in China, in the United States, and in the world.

We don’t know what all is happening in America and especially in China. You are much more aware of what is happening in these places and around the world. Yet this is what we read about your past and present position:

Apparently you were born on June 15, 1953 so you must be about 68 years old, or you will be this year. We further read this: You are “a Chinese politician who has served as General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and Chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC) since 2012, and President of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) since 2013. Xi has been the paramount leader of China, the most prominent political leader in China, since 2012” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xi_Jinping).

You must be a person of some knowledge, some skill, and some abilities. But you must also realize that this is not all there is.  I realize that China is officially an atheistic country, thus officially there is no belief in God in your nation.  In our Bible, we are told that everyone (deep in his heart) knows that there is a God—the true and living God. Thus, even though you and your fellow-Communists may not publically admit this truth, it is definitely true that deep in your heart, your mind, and your conscience, you know that there is not merely “a” god but you realize that the True and Living God, your Creator and mine, lives and to Him we are responsible!

We both know that most Americans and Chinese don’t believe in God and fully submit to Him. It is somewhat more difficult there in China, since there is no “freedom” of belief and expression. Superficially, there is the “freedom” of belief here but many Americans don’t believe in God either. There are millions who reject the Creator and refuse to submit to Him.

Xi Jinping, if you are in your 60s, we both realize that statistically, you will not be alive for very long. I don’t know whether your life will come to an end this year or ten years from now, or much longer. But this we do know: Soon you and I will die and our bodies will be put into the grave. But after this, God our Creator will raise you to life to stand before Him in judgment. The same is true for me. The question then will be: Are we prepared to meet God our Creator? Since probably all of your life you have rejected God, you are not really prepared at all to meet God and give an account to Him. It might be very difficult for you to acknowledge Him and come to Him in humble repentance. Sadly, most Americans are also unprepared to meet God even though they think that they are.

Therefore, I call on you, my friend, to be willing to acknowledge God’s existence, His creation of you and all people, and His coming role as Judge of all. Be aware that Jesus Christ (the Son of God) has created you and loves you.  He has taken your sins and rebellion, died for you, and resurrected to new life. We should humbly acknowledge His rulership, and the fact that He is not only Lord and Creator but also Savior from sin, death, and hell! I encourage you and your team to read these very simple and plain verses from the Bible, the living Word of God: John 3:16-18, 36; 5:24; 6:47; 11:24-26; 14:6; Acts 2:38-41; 22:16; Romans 10:9-10; Romans 5:1-11.

We know that you and the Communist Party orchestrated the Coronavirus scare here in the United States and around the world. In other words, we know that you are responsible for your mishandling of the virus and the way that it has gone during the past year and a half or so. As you know, this was a very despicable event that needs to be repented of—thoroughly and completely. But besides this, we do encourage you to find the forgiveness and acceptance that God can give you through Jesus Christ.  I encourage you to contact me about any of this if you would like.

Sincerely,

Richard Hollerman
