As I look out on the world, I see so many confusing matters. This world, of perhaps 9 billion people professes to know God but most people do not know Him.

I think of the Muslims in the Middle East. These dear people, all 1.9 billion of them, profess to know God (whom they mistakenly call Allah) but most are wrong, absolutely wrong!

I think of the Hindus of India, all the billions of them, and the Buddhists and others of Asia, who profess to know God but they are sorely mistaken. Of course, the Buddhists of the far east are theists and professedly do not know God.

Even the Shintoists, the Taoists, the Confucianists, and others refuse to bow the knee to the Lord Jesus and are content with their false religion. Sadly, we know that God calls all people to Himself but most will not come.

We are living in a world of millions (or billions), as we have mentioned, but we know that most will not come to God. Most will not seek refuge in Him. Most will not seek His forgiveness through genuine repentance and trust in His shed blood. Most will go their own way and refuse His forgiveness and cleansing.

We find this so sad. We realize that only a handful will come to God. Most will not seek Him. Only a very small portion, an infinitely small number will seek His forgiveness. Will you?
