There has been much talk these days about Israel and the Muslims that would oppose this country. The United States (the largest country in the world) consists of about 330 million people. However, Muslims in many countries of the world, accounts for about 1.9 billion souls. What do we know about this religion and country?

The Muslims, especially in the Middle East, are found in various countries. We refer to North Africa (which Mohammad’s followers) took from those who had formerly lived there. Then there is also the Middle East and then the countries to the east as far as India and China.

In the Middle East, we find the nations of Jordan, Yemen (which has caused much trouble in the area), especially containing the Houthis. Then there would be Syria, Iraq, Lebanon (which would have formerly been Orthodox but now Muslim), and Palestine (in Israel) and Gaza, which has been much in the news). Of course, there would also be Iran that is very Muslim (of the Shia school) and the Sunni are found in many other countries). There would also be Pakistan, Afghanistan, India, and other countries. Many Muslims also live in China, Indonesia (where the number would be substantial), and North Africa.

As we understand the situation, there are now 45% in Africa, 25% in Asia, 6% in Europe, and 1% in the Americas. In the “subdivided geographical religions,” there would be 91% in the Middle East and North Africa, 90% in Central Asia, 65% in the Caucus, 42% in Southeast Asia, 32% in South Asia, and 42% in sub-Saharan Africa.

We also find that South Asia would give about 31% Muslims, with Indonesia providing about 12% of the Islamic world. Other Islamic countries would be India and China. Because of the high birth rate, Islam would be the fastest-growing religion in the world.

In the 20th century, the preferred spelling was Moslem but now it would be Muslim. In Asia, the preferred term would be Mussulman. In English it would be Muslim. Until the 1960s, the term would be Mohammedans or Mahometans, but today this has been referred to as offensive and pejorative. In medieval Europe this would be Saracens, but again this presently would be obsolete.  Although all Muslims would agree, they all use the Quran, thinking (wrongly) that this came from Allah Himself.

We find that the following would be the regions with Muslims:

Indonesia – 260 million

Pakistan—240 million

India—195 million

Bangladesh– 154 million

Nigeria—100 million

Egypt—96 million

Iran—83 million

Turkey—83 million

Algeria—43 million

Sudan—41 million

Thus, we find that the Muslims do fight Israel. Actually, both of these religions are opposed to the truth of God. Muslims teach and urge people to support a false god and the Israelis also oppose Jesus as the Messiah. But despite the fact that both of these religions are opposed to the truth of God, and also oppose each other we find that the both are against the truth the Lord and (with such opposition) neither are prepared to see Him or be with Him. Rather, surely they both will be eternally separated from Him.

So whether we are speaking of Muslims or Israelis or someone else, they all need Jesus and His salvation. Every last one of them>
