We wonder. Are we blind to see the truth? Have we closed our eyes to reality as we go about our lives? Are you and I blind so that we cannot see truth when it is presented?

Surely you and I know that nearly all those around us will one day die and it could be very soon. It may be 100 years but probably much sooner. We will all be gone. We will all die. We will all experience the proverbial “six foot under” truth. Most of our friends, neighbors, family, and other will be gone. We hesitate saying it like this but we all know that this is true. Politicians, sports personalities, entertainers, statemen, and others will be gone. We all know that this is true and we can’t run from it.

Most of these dear people will be in anguish in Hades (Luke 16), and sadly, they will be in anguish and pain (see verses 23, 24, 28). After the judgement, they will be in hell (Revelation 14:10-11; 20:14-15; 21:8). See also Matthew 13:38-50; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9.). We know that this truth must be hard for you to bear, but we know that it is true and we must accept it.

There may be a few of you so blinded by rank unbelief that you deny this. You may be an “atheist” and refuse to believe the truth of the afterlife and the future. But you know deep down that it is true.

So most of you will be mercilessly thrown into Hades, what will you do? If most of the world population will be rejected by God because of unforgiven sin and unbelief, what will you do? And if the billions of people think that they have been forgiven, but are dreadfully wrong, what will these do?

Friend, now is the time to repent! Place your faith in Jesus as the only rescue that will do. Your baby baptism will never do! Your false church or denomination will be in vain. Only Jesus can help and only He can forgive! Only repentant and believing people can escape (see especially such scriptures as Luke 13:3, 5; Acts 3:19; John 1:12; 3:15-18, 36). Only this will be a way to deal with the coming conflagration! See especially Acts 2:37-41; Romans 6:3-5; 22:16; Galatians 3:26-27). Live for Jesus now while there is still time and before it is too late!

Islam cannot save you. Judaism cannot save you. Hinduism and Buddhism cannot save you. Surely Catholicism and even Protestantism cannot save.

Jesus alone can save and deliver. Come to Him while there is still time and before the curtain falls and it is the End. The various ones whom you rely on and you hope to deliver cannot really forgive and save. Come to Jesus for His forgiveness.
