We know that there have been discussions during the past century or so that deal with the place and work of women in the church, in society, and in the world at large. (In fact, I have a book in my library on God’s woman.)

The question that we must deal with as we begin this article would be whether we will hold the Bible, the Word of God, as our authority and guide! Or whether we will hold society and the world as our Guide in life! This is the question. And as we proceed, we want to make it plain that we, the author, holds that God’s Word must be believed and obeyed in all circumstances and at all times.

We know that there are some who reject this and claim that all of the ways that God and life in general would accept and promote all sorts of different lifestyles and arrangements between the genders, but this we hold as being an abomination and opposed to the ways of God, as clearly spelled out in the Word of God. You will need to make your own conclusion on this but God has made it quite plain what His will is and what His truth is.

The view that God accepts and promotes all views as right and pleasing to Him would be called “egalitarianism.” On the other hand, we know that the opposite view, that God promotes only one view, with the husband and man as the “head” in marriage, in society, and in the world, would be called “complementarian” in perspective. It is clear, if we accept the Scriptures as our guide that we must accept the latter view as the perspective that the Bible teaches and exemplifies.

Sadly, we must say that half or perhaps more than half of people just don’t see what God has revealed. Yes, we know that the country was different 100 or 200 years ago, but we do wonder if this was representative of deeply-held convictions (based on the Bible) or whether these people were merely following the conventions of society. And even though a certain number of people would claim to follow Scripture regarding gender, we think that the world at large, especially Europe and certain other countries would be following the ways of the world and society.

Of the certain number that would claim to be following the ways of God, perhaps 50%, but maybe 20%?, we know that large numbers of them have no interest in God’s ways and His design of gender and for male leadership. They would rather follow the ways of society—even if this will result in hell or shall we bluntly say, the lake of fire! Yes, surely the majority have no interest in God’s truth and follow their own pathway to destruction—actually eternal destruction!

What are we saying here? If actually 50% (in America) do follow what God has said regarding the relationship of genders, we know that most of these people are not saved and will not go to “heaven” when they die. If you have followed our articles that presents pluralism on this website, you will know that the great majority of these dear people do not follow the ways of God and His will. We are speaking of non-Christians, as well as professing Christians, here.

Thus, we are speaking of Orthodox, Catholics, Episcopalians, Methodists, Northern Baptists, and others. In other words, most of those who do accept what God has said regarding the relationship of the sexes are wrong and will remain wrong. They will be eternally cast off by God regardless of what they are right on.
