Probably all of us mourn the loss of the lives in Colorado. These people (probably most of them young people, perhaps in their teens, twenties, or thirties) were brutally slain recently by a well-meaning but deranged gunman and sent all of these men and women to their graves.

Sadly, even though we might lament their murder, we know that the ones who were killed were likewise evil and perverted. As in other murders like this, we know that the one or ones who murder were wrong and sent to Hades (and after the judgment, to hell—see Luke 16:23ff and Revelation 21:8), and also the ones who were slain and murdered in this inhumane way were also wicked and worthy of the eternal flames in hades and then hell. How do we look at this and similar events?

We know that these homosexuals are called “sodomites” for a reason. Just as the inhabitants of the original Sodom in Palestine (Genesis 19) were killed after they committed homosexuality or sodomy, we realize that those who follow them likewise are worthy of eternal rejection by a holy God and hence we have the term “sodomy” (to refer to the sin of Sodom, and the rejection of these perverts).

But, we know that people today generally don’t see it this way and are perverted themselves. For example, one person who objected to these senseless and evil slayings, said this to the ones who condemned one of these people: “Please, your honor, I’m pleading with you, lock this animals up to the depths of hell.” This was said to Sheryl Norton, whose daughter Ashton Amililta, was shot seven times but has since recovered.”

Another defender of these murdered victims said, “Club Quris long considered a safe haven even for the GBTGL [sodomite, bisexual, transsexual, queer] communities in a city with a history of being anti-gay…” We wonder why it was put this way (with an anti-gay bias) rather than pro-sodomite, is something that makes us wonder. Isn’t it more truthful to say that a person is pro-sodomite rather than calling him anti-sodomite? Isn’t it more accurate to say that a person approves and applauds sodomy or immorality than to say that the person is against homosexuals?

There used to be a saying, “Say it like it is.” How this needs to be implemented today. Let’s speak the truth and not a sanitized and perverted version of lies. Let’s “say it as it is” about sexual immorality—and not a perverted objection of this!
