Issues in the Church of Christ
Issues in the Church of Christ Long ago, we had contact with what has been called the “Churches of Christ.” It has been asked why there are any problems associated with this group of churches today and why I choose not be part of this fellowship at present. There are many reasons but let me mention several at this time. It has been said that there are perhaps 3,000 different churches or denominations in the United States and some 30,000 in the world. These would be churches that call themselves “Christian” in some measure. They would not include world religions, such as Islam, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, or even Roman Catholics. We know that these would not all be the same for there are different denominations and groupings included in this category.
