America is being Destroyed

Just today I heard a broadcaster say that the present problems encountered in the world and this country is actually “destroying America.” I wouldn’t at all debate this but would like to expand this to more than only three issues destroying this country, as the broadcaster suggested.

This is why I have given a title to our comments as found above. Indeed, America is being destroyed. Some of the enemies are without but many are found within. Altogether, we sadly must say that the United States is being overthrown by many factors. Such as what?

1. America is being destroyed by the Coronavirus.

We know that this wicked virus has affected every nation on earth thus this country is not alone.  At present, some millions of people have been affected and further multiple millions have died.  Some places are so bad that officials are merely dumping bodies into the open earth and covering them over. Families are being ravaged and both pestilence and starvation can be seen wherever we look. Something is wrong about this. We know that some nations burn bodies but doesn’t this show a disrespect for the human body?

2. America is being destroyed by lack of work.

Because of this virus, millions or actually tens of millions of people are unable to find gainful employment. Yes, the government seeks to help them, but still so many are not able to “make ends meet” and even buy food. Many other nations have hundreds of millions in dire straits at this point! We have allowed the virus and like enemies to overtake us and wreck havoc in our nation.

3. America is being destroyed through the war on police.

Those of you who know me realize that I (and every consistent follower of Christ) do not bear arms, thus some may call us pacifists. However, we definitely believe in “law and order” and the need for police. Romans 13:1-7 bears this out clearly. Let us submit to those who have authority over us! Let us be willing to yield our “rights” and obey those who are over us as a nation. 

4. America is being destroyed by the wicked “critical race theory.”

Christians are aware that there is only one (single) race of people—the human race. And this race began in the Garden of Eden, even though we realize that many (or even most) people do not believe in this fact. Sadly, many people (including educators, government officials, etc.) don’t believe this but promote the idea that one ethnic group has ruled over the other by what they have done or not done. We know that there have been many misdeeds in America but we also know that other countries have similar backgrounds.

5. America is being destroyed by other hostile nations.

We all know of some of these but perhaps we are not aware that there are so many belligerent countries who would like to destroy America and other like nations. We refer to such nations as China (with their spread of the so-called China virus as well as their militarism that this country continues to build). We also refer to places like Russia and China with their animas against America and the cyber war that they are waging. We also refer to Iran, North Korea, and like countries who would like to militarily destroy law-abiding citizens.

6. America is being destroyed by liberal philosophies.

As you may imagine, we refer to liberal political regimes that seemingly have as their goal the destruction of the nation. But this doesn’t just pertain to America but to many other countries of the world. Political liberalism, religious liberalism, economic liberalism, and others seek to destroy this nation from within, corrupting the minds of young people as well as older people.

7. America is being destroyed by ethnic groups that want to rule over others.

We don’t need to merely find this through “critical race theory” or any other false ideology, but it is quite plain for everyone to see. At one time, different groups have promoted false ideas about “race” but this has become a major element in our time. Do they do this because of truth—or because they want power over others?

8. America is being destroyed by false, misleading, liberal, and ungodly education. 

We hope that no reader will conclude that we refer to education, per se, for a minority of it may be good, but we definitely refer to the Satanic education that has overtaken this country for centuries now, particularly during the past 100 years. Again, we do not just refer to the humanistic education that John Dewey brought into America but humanistic education itself, promoted by nearly all. The early 1800s was the watershed of liberal education. We all know that Charles Darwin and others unleashed the false theory of evolution about 1859, but secular education has gone downhill ever since this period of time. When you send your children to the public schools (as most parents do), including the millions that are now in liberal universities, we must take note of the fact that almost all of this “education” is Satanic in origin. If public education is not an option and if small families of one or two children are not an option, we do encourage home education where each of your children can be taught and trained in godliness and Scriptural standards!

9. America is being Destroyed by violence, hostility, and mayhem.

Probably all of us know that perhaps more than found in other countries, America is being overrun and even destroyed by the rioting in the major cities. Perhaps many of us can’t imagine how evil this disorder is—but it is now part of this culture. We’ve seen images on the internet that show the violence, the lawlessness, and the turmoil that this evil has brought to this country. Let’s remember that all aspects of this rebellion, strife, turbulence, and insurrection, are wicked and part of the enemy’s plan to destroy the nation from within. We wonder how any single person (not to speak of the thousands) can commit such evil and assume that this is good. Every window broken, every car overturned, every person harmed, and every person who wants the police to be wrongly charged with this wickedness needs to be held accountable. It is part of Satan’s plan to destroy America.

We don’t want any reader to conclude that somehow we are saying that this nation is the only one that has societal problems. Not at all. Although we do find rampant humanism, secularism, entertainment, music, sports, immodesty, anti-God views, and much more in America, we know that in most other countries of the world, some of these “enemies” are also making inroads into their culture. God may be using all of these ungodly factors to bring down this nation for His own purposes—as well as other elements of these other countries.

We encourage you to lift up your heads and look for God to act (Luke 21:34-36). He knows what He is doing and as dark and bleak as it now looks, God does have his purposes. Let us trust in Him!
