Barbie Takes on a New Gender in Dolls

[We are totally convinced that Satan is using thousands of different means to capture the hearts of our children! This is only one of many recent attempts to touch their impressionable hearts with a wicked scheme. More later.]

The days of Barbie and Ken getting married and moving into their bright pink mansion are now a thing of the past. Last September, toy giant Mattel, launched a line of gender-inclusive dolls.

The new line is called Creatable World. Each kit includes one doll and comes with clothing options, accessories, and wigs. The overarching idea is to allow children to style the doll with short hair or long hair, and dress it in a skirt, pants, or both. In short, children can choose to make the doll male or female..

“We see this line as a opportunity for us to open up that dialogue around what dolls are for and who dolls are for,” said Kim Culmone, senior vice president of Mattel Fashion Doll Design. “And also as the world begins to celebrate the positive impact of inclusivity, we absolutely fundamentally believed it was time to launch a doll line free of labels and free of rules for kinds.”

Mattel consulted with pediatricians and other experts to ensure the doll was truly gender inclusive.

Culmone added “Through research, we heard that kids don’t want their toys dictated by gender norms. This line allows all kids to express themselves freely which is why it resonates as strongly with them.”

This is just another attempt by members of the LGBT community to make their lifestyles seem normal.

When we reject God’s Word as the ultimate authority to guide us, we’re left with no absolute standard, and moral chaos ensues as everyone does what’s right in his or her own eyes (Judges 21:25).

[This is a subtle and wicked scheme of Satan to reach into the hearts of our children to so twist them and pervert them that they will lose all ability to understand and respond to godliness. Note the following:

1. Parents are to teach and train their children in holiness. This is an attempt to distort the truth of sexuality. (Ephesians 6:4).
2. Satan makes something like a doll into a sex object that is an evil attempt to pervert the minds of children.
3. For the sake of money, Mattel is producing something that has a wicked design.
4. This is part of the sodomite agenda to cause children to not see sodomy for the sin and perversion it is but to just portray it as an acceptable lifestyle.
5. Any Christian father or mother should explain the wickedness of this form of toy with their children so that they will not just think that the parent is being too restrictive.
6. Children should be so taught that they will automatically know that this sort of “toy” will be rejected!

We hope that Christian parents will take this opportunity to train their own conscience so that this sort of evil, if given again in other circumstances, will be discerned and rejected.
