TRUE DISCIPLESHIP

What brought you to this particular web site? What do you hope to find now that you are here? Whatever the answers, we are glad that you have come and we hope that you will be spiritually blessed by your visit.

We assume that you have various needs and expectations:

  • You may have happened on this site by accident—or providentially. We invite you to stay here a while and examine what we have to offer.
  • Second, you may simply be inquisitive. You want to discover who Christians are and what they believe.
  • Third, you may be sincerely seeking the truth. You wonder, “Does Christ have the answer to my problems, my troubles, my emptiness, and my questions in life?” You may want to make sure you are right with God so that you can face life and death with confidence.
  • Fourth, you may be a professing Christian or nominal church member. You ponder whether there is anything more to Christianity than what you have found. You may be dissatisfied with what has been passed off as truth and hope that the Bible may have real answers to these religious questions and disappointments.
  • Finally, you may be determined to discover whether God has even more to reveal to you in His Word than what you have already found. You sincerely want to believe and obey any truth you may discover now and in the future—and you are willing to sacrifice all to find it.

Hopefully, this web site will have something for all of you. Welcome—and please do return from time to time. We have a number of different features for a variety of interests. We have much planned, with more proposed for the coming months. Individual portions will be added as we have the time to provide them. You will find some of the categories already listed and some titles accessible.

Our time is very limited. I am involved in many other works for the Lord. A great deal of literature (tracts, articles, books) has been produced over the years. Some of this will be reproduced here while some may be offered through the mail. In addition, current articles of interest will be added regularly, the Lord willing.

What is our goal for this site? The ultimate goal in this and all other endeavors of life is the glory and praise of God, our beloved Heavenly Father. The apostle Peter writes that “in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever” (1 Peter 4:11; cf. 1 Corinthians 10:31). We want to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ, “so that He Himself might come to have first place in everything” (Colossians 1:18b). Further, we want to have a firm commitment to the integrity, inspiration, and authority of holy Scripture, the written Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17). His Word will provide the basis of all that appears on these pages.

Hopefully, you will have some of your questions answered. Your faith in God will be stimulated, your understanding of Scripture increased, your commitment to Christ deepened, and your obedience to Him broadened.
