O Book Sublime!

O Book Sublime!

O Book Sublime!

If we could plunge to the depths of truth,

And grasp the whole rich story,

Our souls would rise to paradise,

Entraptured by its glory.

For beoundless wealth lies in this Book

Resplendent as a treasure;

Its brilliant rays shine on our ways–

Availing without measure.

O Word divine; O Book sublime!

On wisdom so transcending!

We look to thee; we cling to thee

For guiding light unending.
